Reunion Memories by Shirley Clark

Sometimes we wonder where the time goes. Just a few short months ago we were all in Norfolk, VA and then a few weeks ago we were in San Antonio, Texas. As the old saying goes “Time flies when you are having fun”. And we sure had fun in Texas. Everything was wonderful. It is not a matter of where you are or what you do--- it is a matter of the wonderful friendships that have been molded over the years. Every year seems to get better. We are becoming closer to one another and that always makes for a great reunion.

Clyde and Mary Riddle and Jerry and Joan McCall had the best idea when they chose to try to get this started. We should all be grateful for all of their hard work and dedication to this. We will never know all the hard work that was put into that endeavor. Thanks for everything. Clyde we know that you are proud. If only you could know the happiness that you have brought to all of us.

The reunion was like all others. It was wonderful. Memories, memories and more memories!!!!!!!!

San Antonio, Texas was one of the better reunions. A lot of hard work went into this, and each of us appreciates all that everyone did. It was well worth the effort. Thanks to all.

Our Officers for the year 2003-2004 did a fantastic job and we know that everything will be great this year.

There reunions have been like a great adventure, and I’m so proud that I have been able to be a part of it. Thanks for giving me the opportunity to be a part of this great trip.

Shipmates and friends—you are truly special. Thanks for all the memories.
